HOW Insurance Company ("HOWIC") - A Risk Retention Group

HOWIC's role in receivership now is to protect the interests of home owners, member builders, creditors, and others involved in the HOW Program as described in the Report. Toward that end, the Deputy Receiver has implemented various measures to reduce HOWIC's costs and to enhance the benefits paid to those persons affected by the Company's receivership. The plan currently in effect focuses on the continued improvement of HOWIC's operations and the recovery of funds from responsible third parties.
